Datu Bangaraw is the first Tagabantay of the bakal na krus in history. At age 21, he was the youngest Datu in Philippine Islands during his time. Datu Bangaraw is the first human to kill a Haring Aswang. He received the Bakal na Krus as an ordinary weapon from the Spanish priest warrior, who crafted the weapon and he made the Bakal na Krus into a legendary weapon that can change into many weapons through his prayer. He then passes the sword to his son, who in turn passes it to his descendants.
How he manages to make the crucifix powerful seems so superficial to believe in. No one knows if this story is true. And if this is even true, he is one powerful warrior you don't want to mess up with.
